Tool · 4,113 towns · AEMET data
Every other tool here helps you find a town. This one does the opposite: you already have an address in front of you — a flat you are thinking of buying, a village someone recommended — and you want to know what the weather actually does there.
Type the town. You get the measurements from its AEMET weather station: how many days a month are warm enough to sit outside, how many nights you would want the heating on, how many nights never drop below 20 °C, and how often it rains. 4,113 towns, 709 weather stations, 9 winters of official records.
Spanish towns with more than 500 residents. Accents are optional: javea finds Jávea.
Each row is a 30-day stay starting on the 1st. The figure is the median of the years measured, so it is what a typical year looks like — not a forecast and not an average that hides the bad ones.

One thing this cannot tell you yet. “Warm enough to sit out” means the day reached 18 °C. In summer that is the same thing as dinner on the terrace. In winter it is not: a day that touches 18 °C at three in the afternoon is a good deal colder by nine at night, and the daily records AEMET publishes only carry the day's high and low — not the temperature at dinner time.
Answering “how many January evenings can I eat outside?” needs hourly readings. We have been archiving them since August 2026, because AEMET deletes them after about twelve hours and nobody else keeps them. The first winter of that archive closes in March 2027; until then, this page tells you about the days, honestly labelled as such.
AEMET measures at weather stations, not in town squares. Each town here is tied to the most representative station within 35 km, and the page always shows you which one, how far away it is and the difference in altitude — because that difference is what moves the numbers: roughly 0.6 °C for every 100 m. A match is marked high confidence within 15 km and 100 m, medium within 25 km and 200 m, and rough beyond that. Nothing is interpolated or modelled: every figure on this page was measured at the station named.
